  經驗 Experience ‧ he released his debut of all original material as a singer/songwriter, MIDWEST, in 2012. While living, performing and studying in New York City from 1999 – 2005, Sorensen earned a BFA in jazz performance from one of New York City’s most prestigious performing arts schools, New School University. While there he had the opportunity to study with jazz legends such as Geri Allen, Gregory Hutchinson, Carl Allen, Ari Hoenig, Peter Bernstein, Jane Ira-Bloom, Hal Galper, and many others. He currently lives in Taipei and continues perform, tour and record on drums, guitar and voice as a bandleader, and as a sideman. He also teaches privately and at Taipei American School.
